About Townsend Tennis Courts

The Townsend Park Tennis Courts, located at 1362 Townsend Ave, San Jose, CA 95131, feature two public outdoor hard courts situated within the 8-acre Townsend Park. These neighborhood courts are completely free to play and operate on a first-come, first-served basis, making them a popular local spot for casual matches and practice sessions. The courts tend to get very crowded on weekends, particularly with local morning groups, so arriving early is highly recommended if you want to secure a court without a wait
