Anaheim Tennis Center, Anaheim: What to Know Before You Play
From State College Boulevard, check-in looks like somebody's house — it is one, the Wagner Home, and it's the center's clubhouse. Behind it sit ten lighted tennis courts and ten pickleball courts, twenty in all, a few minutes from Angel Stadium.
The Basics

Sports: Tennis (10 lighted courts), pickleball (10 courts)
Hours: Monday–Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tennis court fee, non-member: $10 per player per hour, weekday mornings 7 a.m.–noon. Anaheim residents pay $8 per player per hour weekdays noon–3 p.m.
Pickleball open play, non-member: $15 morning, $20 afternoon and evening. No open-play fee for members.
Reservations: Non-members can book up to two days ahead. Walk-in play is welcome.
Membership: $105/month single, $150 couple or family, plus $35/month per family member under 18. One-time processing fee $250, or $125 for Anaheim residents.
Ball machine: $30 per hour plus tax for non-members, availability confirmed in advance.

What it's good for
Twenty courts across two sports means you're rarely the odd one out. Pickleball open play is scheduled by level — 2.5–3.5, 3.5+, and a 4.0+ Monday night session — so you can pick a slot that matches your game instead of hoping the rotation is friendly. On the tennis side there are year-round adult and junior programs, plus weekly singles, doubles and mixed doubles play. Lights on all ten tennis courts make weekday evenings real playing time, not a race against dusk.
Before you go
Published non-member tennis rates cover weekday mornings and the resident midday window. Call the clubhouse about evening and weekend court time before you drive over.
Two days is the full booking window for non-members, so plan Saturday on Thursday.
Two pickleball sessions are listed running to 9:30 p.m. on Monday and Friday, past the posted 9 p.m. weekday close. Confirm the last session with the desk before you build an evening around it.
Weekend hours end at 6 p.m., three hours earlier than weekdays — Saturday play is a daytime plan.
Bring your own water. The center doesn't publish what's available courtside, so don't count on filling up there.

Best times to play
Weekday mornings, 7 a.m. to noon, are the published window: cheapest tennis rate, most open-play pickleball on the calendar, and the coolest air of the day. Anaheim residents get a second value window at noon to 3 p.m. Evenings belong to the lights and the higher-level pickleball sessions.
Who plays here
The level labels on the open-play calendar do a lot of work — beginners have their own sessions, and 4.0+ players have Monday night. Junior and adult programs run year-round, so there's a steady mix of ages on court rather than one fixed crowd.
